The General Workshop Safety Training course looks at many potential hazards in detail, objects that could cause injury and the types of accidents that are common but could easily be avoided.

This section looks at employer and employee responsibilities, the hazards that may be present in a workshop and the common types of accidents which happen in a workshop. It also looks at where PPE, permit to work and health surveillance might be needed in a workshop.

Safety signs are an important part of workshop safety and are covered in the second section of the General Workshop Safety course.
